1994
OhMachi joins Johnny’s Entertainment Jimusho on
16th October on the same day.
On 2nd November, OhMachi appear at TOKIO concert「TOKIOと楽しい時代を」at Budokan, dancing around in the background – this was
OhMachi’s first official Johnny’s Jimusho job.
OhMachi mainly does V6 and Kinki Kids’ back dancer jobs at
concerts and on TV, appearing on Music Station often.
1996
Ohno and Machida together enrols into a same high school and
start in April.
Ohno and Machida together leaves high school after three days.
1997
OhMachi appear on「愛LOVEジュニア」together.
Co-cast in Jr Sound Story “We can fly(?)” together.
Become members of TOKYO浜松町 Tokyo Hamamatsucho, a group made of casts of KYO TO KYO
Musical Autumn Series/run. Also included in the group was Yara (MA)
and other Juniors (now all ex – Johnnys).
Johnny’s Fantasy Kyo To Kyo musical between 7th August and
10th December (Ohno
Satoshi as Ushiwakamaru /Prince and Machida Shingo as ensemble – Machida
continued on until10th Feb 2008)
1998
OhMachi appear on LAWSON PRESENTS ALL Johnny’s Junior First
Concert also known as 「素顔1」or Sugao1. Apparently, this concert was the very first
concert all of the “would be” Arashi members appeared in as well.
Ohno receives a birthday phone call from Machida just after
midnight and mentions this during MC/talk part of KTK Ohno’s Birthday
performance.
1999
Musical Academy is formed in 8th March as the first Johnny’s musical
specialist group. There was an article in Sports Newspaper. Originally, members
included Machida, Ohno, Akiyama (MA), Hara and about 10 others. The official
name at the time of announcement was「ミュージカル・アカデミーJ」or “Musical
Academy J”.
“Fresh Spring Concert 99’Johnny’s Senior Junior” at Yokohama
Arena between 2nd & 5th May. Yara and Sakurai Sho also appeared.
OhMachi as members of MA appear on TV Program “THE夜もヒッパレ
/the yorumo hippare” as MA for the first time on
26th June.
MA including OhMachi appear on Music Station as back dancers of
Shonentai and Kinki Kids on few occasions – MA also appear on MJ (Music Jump) -
they are introduced officially as Musical Academy on those shows.
From 4th September, MA become semi-regular on the TV
program “THE夜もヒッパレ” at the time, MA members included Machida, Ohno, Akiyama, Hara
and some others.
OhMachi does the last “Shinme” dance at Kinki Kids Summer
Concert towards the end of 1999 before Ohno becomes Arashi.
2000
In January 2000, Machida leaves Johnny’s Jimusho saying there is
something else he wants to do, (another says he wanted to
“perfect” dancing elsewhere).
2001
Machida returns to Johnny’s Jimusho sometime in early 2001 (some
reports Machida returned to Jimusho in 2000)
Machida comments in 「Wink Up」April edition in Dengonban/伝言板「あなたとシンメで踊っていたときが、一番安心していた気がします。」
“I felt the safest (or most comfortable?) dancing Shinme with you”
OhMachi appear on 少年隊ミュージカル
PLAYZONE2001“新世紀”EMOTION
/ Shonentai Musical Playzone 2001 Shinseiki Emotion” between
14th July and 17th August (Ohno as Kare and Machida as
ensemble)
There used to be a fancam vids of this musical on youtube. I
think during “Primavera” performance towards the end of the show, you could see
Ohno going to the back of the stage, doing high 5 / holding hands with Machida
and other back dancers including other MA members.
2005
3rd April, Machida says in his blog that he received object
d’art /ornament of “hand” as a gift.
2007
16th October - Anniversary of Joining Johnny’s – Machida
receives a mail from Ohno.
In Shonen Club Premium, Machida appeared as a VTR guest and sent
lots of LOVELOVE to Ohno saying things like:
- “Ohno is probably the person who knows me best”「一番俺のことを知ってるのは大野じゃないかな」
- “Between you and me… Ohno is the best Shinme dancing partner
that I feel most comfortable with” 「シンメで踊ってたのも、ここだけの話なんですけど、大野さんが一番しっくりくるんで」
- “I would love to dance with you again”「また一緒に踊りたいなと思う」and “Right now, I often think I would really like to work with
you…stage play or concert …it doesn’t matter what”「仕事で舞台とかコンサートとかでもいいけど一緒にやりたいなぁと今すごく思います」
2008
On 23rd March, Machida mentions in his blog that he went to
Ohno’s Amatsukaze practice but could not get in so after Ohno finished
practicing, Machida went along to have dinner with Ohno and Amatsukaze casts.
At dinner, Ohno and Machida talked about old days and also about dreams for the
future.
Apparently Ohno kept replying to Machida’s questions with
completely off the subject answers. To this, Machida said かわいい顔してるから許してやるか“well, I forgive him because Ohno has a cute face”…
This is when Machida made a comment 大野といるとなんか自分が楽でいられる
“I can be myself (feel comfortable) when I am with Ohno”
Machida left Ohno a message on mobile (cell) phone. Ohno liked
the message so much that he saved it.
Machida apparently went to Ohno’s Art Exhibition as well.

| Looking at Sho kun at here, make me no surprised at all why Yama Pair is so famous around early Arashi debut. Because both of them seems really close since in junior era of MA. |
