Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi will star in the drama SP that will be broadcasted for the 24HR TV program, "Farewell for Today" (Kyou no hi wa sayonara)". He will play a young man who was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma at the age of 29, “The character I’m playing, Kouta finds out that his cancer will kill him. ‘To live properly, to die properly’ is a difficult theme that I’d like to portray earnestly. Also, I would like to present Kota’s ‘strong will’. Everyone, please watch it."

Synopsis

29-year-old Kouta was born and raised in the country, who later dropped out of college to be able to take on several jobs. He lived a half-baked life until he realized his dream, to be a chef. Later on, he was diagnosed with Malignant Lymphoma. He was able to recover from the difficult illness only for it to have a recurrence.

It’s been 2 years since the disease was found out, and Kouta was given 3 months to live. Even when presented with this unreasonably young fate, he is determined to live the remaining days staring death in the face and die properly. This was all he could do for his loved ones…

People live and people die. We face life while feeling the fear and sadness. In this drama, he will painstakingly paint up until his last breath.
