Ohno Satoshi kun… I
don’t even know where to begin.
The day when you
played Janken and won, you became leader.. and you don’t know how grateful I am
for that fact.
I mean sure, Sho
would’ve been great as leader but you’re such an unique person, it would feel
so out of place if the leader of Arashi wasn’t you.
~ Your blank
expressions, your spaced outness, and your priceless faces.. I just.. can’t
dislike you.
~ You always gave your
best and did everything with such a passion and that is why you’re such an
inspiration.
~ No matter what you do,
you put your heart and soul into it, but you don’t show it off.
~ You have such a
beautiful heart, filled with courage and compassion.

You take life one step

As you said in your
quote, “I don’t want people
calling me an idol. Nor a talent, or an entertainer. Just Ohno Satoshi works
fine for me, I want people to see me simply as a person.”
Just that quote alone,
inspires me to always be myself, no matter how many bad qualities I
possess. Just being me, just being
myself, and not trying to act like someone else, that’s what you taught me.
Another quote that you
inspired me with is “I think it’s all right for everybody to be the way they want to
be.” You know what? Because
those quotes are pretty close to my own principle of life “The only thing you can do is just be yourself”.
From the words you
spoke, you encourage me to just do what I like, not to please the others. It’s
not about what others think, it’s about how I choose to live my life, isn’t?
Riida, you’re one of
the greatest people I have ever met.
From being down to
earth, to being caring, friendly, kind hearted, and humble.
You’re so shy, but
when you say something, I explode from laughter.
I don’t think being
shy is such a bad thing. Coz I am the shy one too. Actually, you helped me
through my shy qualities. I used to be so shy I never talked to anyone that I
didn’t know, but seeing you open up and talk to Arashi about things, even as you
first met them, I was inspired to do the same. If it weren’t for you, I’d still
be hiding in a corner, waiting for someone to talk to me. You helped me open my
heart to others, and taught me not to be scared to express my feelings.
You lead by not leading
at all. Being Arashi’s leader, you never actually do work around the company,
but just being there for them, just encouraging them and helping them through
their lives.Just being their friend, that alone is being a leader. Just talking
with them, just communicating and spending time with them and I’m pretty sure
they have a lot of respect for you.
In most interviews,
Sho and Jun say how much they respect having you as their leader,
because without you,
there is no Arashi. Just by being there by their side, that’s being a true
leader. Truly, you are the definition of a true leader. Although people say
you’re the least attractive in Arashi, I think you’re one of the most beautiful
people on this planet and that is because of your genuine personality.
Something about you,
makes me want to appreciate you, not as an idol, but a person.
So Ohno, in honour to
celebrated your 35th Anniversary this year,
I just want to say a
biggest thank to you from the bottom of my heart.
I can’t even describe
how much respect I have for you.

hard since you’ll be pulled out of magazines, and you’ll be treated differently
because you’re supposedly “old”, but I believe you’re younger at heart than any
other man out there.
You’re 35 at age, always

You’re just.. such a unique
beautiful person that I’ve ever met, and I will always love you.
