It was reported that popular idol group Arashi member Ohno
Satoshi (35 years old) will star in a leading role in a romantic comedy drama series
starting in April on Nippon Television. Titled “Sekaiichi
Muzukashii Koi (The
World’s Most Difficult Romance)”, which start airing
on Wednesday at 10pm.
This will be Ohno’s first romantic comedy drama, with a leading
role, no less. “I am relieved it is a comedy. If it is a pure romance story, I
will be embarrassed to do it.
,” Ohno commented.
Nevertheless, he also showed eargerness for this opportunity: “I’m sure I’ll have lines I’ve never had in my other roles. I
hope I get to show a different side of me through this character.”
In the drama, Ohno’s plays a young and shrewd CEO “Samejima Reiji” who manages
several first-rate hotels and also the heirs of a long-established
Japanese-style inn and is now making inroads in the hotel industry.
This is also Ohno’s first time playing a young CEO. “I don’t have any interest in what a CEO does,” he said,
laughing. “But it was nice to see ‘Chief Executive Officer’ on my business card
since it was a dream of mine,” he commented happily.
Flawless looks to go with his flawless career, he is known as
the beloved child of the hospitality industry. He is excellent at his job as he
has a great talent for satisfying his customers, and he seems perfect at a
glance. However, those around him
secretly speak of the CEO as someone who ‘has the brilliant talent for please
customers, but has not a millimeter of skill for pleasing women’.
He never succeeds in love because of
his arrogant personality and never able to understand the needs of
others, his childish temperament invites trouble and demolishes all chances of
love ever blossoming. Of course, he himself does not realize this is the reason
why he is not popular with the ladies, therefore adding a comical touch to the
story.
Producer Hazeyama Hiroko reveals, “Even though this character is all-around pitiful, you get
glimpses of his charm and can’t help but laugh. He is the best actor for this
role.” She is confident in her choice to cast Ohno.
Filming is scheduled to begin late February, “I hope viewers will find themselves falling in love with me
every passing episodes,” Ohno spoke of his aspirations.

Kyaa!! Can't wait for Oh chan new Love Comedy Drama. Reading Oh chan answered about his character make me blush too LoL XDD. He look so embarrassed about the story genre. Glad is not pure romance story, if not he'll must be embarrassed to do it as well as he said. Such a shy person ever and that's what make him cute ^_^
Honestly when the first time the title for Oh chan new drama 'Sekaiichi Muzukashi Koi' was reveal lately, that reminds of my ex-favorite anime yaoi drama which i watch back long-years ago, named 'Sekaiichi Hatsukoi' (>_<) The tittle is almost close, isn't it? ~ fufufufuu...
Just forget it XDD
